simple caramel birthday cake celebration of my dawanda shop's first year...i treated myself with a birthday cake...a simple one...a caramell cake...with toffees...delicious.

i thought, i share the recipe with was approved by other sweet-toothes...even though very unlike my other's without any chocolate.

this is what you need

- 200g butter

- 200g icing sugar

- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- a pinch of salt

- 3 eggs

- 150g flour

- 100g corn strach

- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 50g toffees

this is what you have to do

-  preheat the oven to 180 degrees

- beat the butter, icing sugar, salt and vanilla until light and fluffy

- mix in the eggs, one at a time

- gradually add the flour, the corn starch and the baking powder

- beat everything together well

- chop toffees with a knife and set aside

- grease your cake pan

- pour half of the dough into the cake pan

- spread the toffee crumbles onto the dough

- add the rest of the dough

- bake for 50 minutes

- bake for 25 minutes, when using muffin moulds

- let the cake cool down

- cover the cake with icing sugar 

- enjoy
