birthday card, straight from the heart - ladies edition

and one more "laminate sample - heart" birthday card...my last one to be published...i promise.

this one is sort of a mixture of my previous greeting cards...a sewn fabric heart and some sequins in black on a laminate sample.

basically it is a female, but not tacky version of the first one.

...black and a little bling bling...this is my thing...especially in a rustic combination with wood or faux wood.

this is what you need

- laminate sample

- black bling bling fabric

- heart template

- cotton balls

- bright touch-up pen

- scissors

- glue

- black sequins

- black paper

- yarn

- pins

- sewing machine

this is what you have to do

- place your heart template onto the backside of the fabric

- copy the outlines of the heart

- it could look like this

- get your scissors ready

- cut out the heart

- here we go

- cut out a second fabric heart

- get your pins ready

- pin the two hearts together, the outer side of the fabric on the outer side

- sew both pieces together

- leave an opening of a few centimeters

 - get you cotton balls ready, as you can see cotton pads will do as well

- insert the cotton balls

- close the opening with pins

- sew along the edges to seal the heart

- get your glue ready

- apply glue to the backside of the fabric heart

- press it firmly onto the right upper part of the laminate sample

- get you sequins ready

- sprinkle some sequins onto the laminate sample and adhere them with glue

- write your wishes onto the black paper

- adhere the paper onto the backside of the laminate sample

that's it a simple but cool and stylish birthday card for ladies or fashionable gentlemen is ready.

i hope you have enjoyed the tutorial...thank you very much for your visit...best regards...silke
