this is what you need
- two lace-plastic-placemats
- flower or brooch
- glass or any other small round object
- pen
- small scissors
- paper clips
- thread
- sewing machine
this is what you have to do
- using the glass as a template, draw a circle in the middle of the upper third onto the placemats.
- repeat the same with the second placmat.
- cut out the circles with the scissors.
- attach both placemats to each other using paper clips.
- ensure that the placemats lie flush against each other.
- sew along all three edges
- add a flower or a brooch.
...of course it works with any other placemats. too.
