fancy lunch bag

i always admired those beautiful handmade oilcloth lunch bags...finally found a fabric, i fell in love with...and here it is...my very own fancy lunch bag...

this is what you need

- 1/2 meter oilcloth ( wachstuch )
- scissors
- paperclips
- pins
- ruler
- thread
- sewingmachine
- stainless steel bag clip

this is what you have to do

- cut the oilcloth into three panels

- one main panel approximately 70 by 20cms

- two panels approximately 30 by 13cms

- fold the main panel inside out into u-shape with 13cm bottom

- sew-in side panels, matching up the tops and the side, leaving 0.5cm seam allowance

 - clip the large pieces at a 90 degree angle and rotate the side panel to create the bottom gusset.

- continue sewing the bottom and up the other side

 - repeat for the other side panel

 - turn right side out

- topstitch all around

- add a bag clip

- and enjoy your fancy oilcloth lunch bag
